This (almost) concludes the second chapter of the original novel. Note that, with very minor exceptions, the dialogue was taken word-for-word from the source material. In fact, it's closer to Leblanc's text than the English translation is. That being said, it's a nice-sounding translation, so I used it as much as possible.
